What a Match!!!
You don't have to be a tennis fan to appreciate the magnitude of what went on at the All England Tennis Club today. Roger Federer (with Gwen and Gavin in tow) was taking on Rafael " someone get me some underwear that fits" Nadal for the Men's singles championships. The super stylish Federer came into this championship as the 5 time defending Champion. Nadal had never won the championship but is the king of Clay and has dominated the French Open for the last 4 years. Last year the 2 displayed what was some of the best tennis the Championships had seen. This year has already been called the best match in Wimbledon history. It was the longest match in the Championship's history with Nadal surviving 3 rain delays to dethrone the number 1 player in the world. Congrats to Rafa and also to Roger. While he didn't break the record of five in a row, he is still to be considered one of the greatest players in tennis history. Oh, and he's still number 1 in the world.
