Favre has been traded to the New York Jets. F**k Green Bay. Now I can go see him play. Im sure the cost of tickets has skyrocketed with this news.

I Knew There Was A Good Reason

God I sound like the guy's mother. Brett Favre has issued a statement about his "situation" with the Packers.

Favre said he was "never fully committed" to retiring and felt pressured by the Packers to make a decision, a notion Packers general manager Ted Thompson and coach Mike McCarthy tried to dispel. Favre continues, "Them moving on does not bother me. It doesn't. I totally understand that by me retiring March 3rd, I knew that could possibly happen. All I was saying is, you know, I'm thinking about playing again."

He may not be the man he was 10 years ago or even 5. but if Brett Favre is on the field, you bet it makes the defense think twice about their strategy.

Packers Limit Favres Options

The Green Bay Packers have said that they have no plans to release Brett Favre. The Packers Golden Boy will be saved a place as the back-up quarterback. Ouch!!! Can they really do that to him? I guess so. Buut stay tuned. Something tells me that this aint over.
